·       Continue writing the “tricky teens” in random order (numbers 11-19)

·       Return Birthday Book Club books to library if you haven’t already

·       Counting backwards  20-0 and forward 1-50+

·       Counting by tens to 100+

*We are starting to blend simple words. Please review the sight words and color words. 

Reminders:

NO SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS on Monday, October 14th or Tuesday, October 15th

•   Tuesday, October 29th:  Hoe Down Day-the children may dress like “farmers” and wear jeans, overalls, bandanas, cowboy hats, etc.  (early dismissal 11:45) – FALL FESTIVAL IN THE MAC! 

****You may pick your child up from his/her classroom @ 1 1:45.  Please look for a note in the red folders on Thursday, October 17th concerning early dismissal days and return it ASAP****

·       Wednesday, Oct 30th: NO LATE START and   Early dismissal (11:45)   Parent/Teacher Conferences that afternoon

·       Friday, November 22nd:  Father’s “Break” Feast 8:30 **If Dad can’t attend, please  let a grandfather, uncle, or special family friend come instead. Every child will need a “dad” with him/her.
