Homework:

·       Read, read, read!

Skills:

·       We are studying pumpkins, bats, and spiders.

·       We continue to blend and sound out words.  We are working on three letter words and using our words to make sentences in our writing.

Reminders: 

·       Monday, October 14^th  and Tuesday, October 15^th  – SCHOOL HOLIDAYS

·       Friday, October 11^th:   Field trip to Twin Oaks Farm

·       Remember that parents will owe $8 at the farm if you didn’t already pay. Please pray for great weather!

·       **Students need to wear a RED uniform shirt and they can wear jeans or uniform bottoms for our field trip.**

·       Tuesday, October 29th :  Hoe Down Day (early dismissal 11:45)

·       Wednesday, Oct 30th – NO LATE START -Early dismissal (11:45)   Parent/Teacher Conferences

·         Friday, November 22nd:  Father’s “Break” Feast 8:30 **If Dad can’t attend let Grandfather, uncle, or special family friend come instead. Every child will need a “dad” with him/her.
