Kindergarten Corner

Week of December 9-13,  2019

Bible Verse:  Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good. Psalm 118:1

Sight word:   review all popcorn words 

Homework:

·        Write numbers through 30 fluently, watch for backwards  numbers

·       word list 2

Skills:  

·        Counting backwards 20-0 and forward 1-50+

·        Practice putting lowercase letters in abc order, as well as sounding 

     out simple cvc words as you read with them. (ex. cat, bed, sun, tin)

  Reminders: 

  • Friday December 6th- donate $1 and wear jeans to support the  

    Mentor’s Project.

  • In preparation for the upcoming Holiday projects, we need 

    each child to bring in a clean, empty, glass baby food jar,

    by DECEMBER 6th. 

  • Please send in a wrapped book labeled “boy, girl, or either” for our

    Christmas book exchange by December 13th if you have not 

     already done so. We need one from every child please, so every 

    child can participate and get a book. 

  • Early Dismissal on Monday, December 16th at 11:45 after the 

    Elementary Sing Along at 10:30.
