Parents,
On Monday 2/3, we will begin sending home our “baggie books” with a reading log. The bag will include a book for your child to read to you and a reading log for you to sign after your child has read the book 2 times with ease. Please understand that the purpose of the books is to foster a love of reading and to encourage students to read for entertainment. The books should be easy for your child to read, this will help them to gain confidence and begin to be fluent readers. Again, these books should not be “too hard” and your child should not struggle to read them to you. As always, please let us know if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you!
