Sight Words:  in, we, by

Word Families: -ap, -an

Homework:

• Practice counting by 5s and 10’s and counting to 100
• Practice writing to 100
• Practice writing first and last name

Skills:

•   Continue to work on short vowel sounds and blending 3 and 4 letter words with your child. Keep up the good work!
• Continue to review the sight words we have already learned this year.

Reminders:

• Sunday, January 26th:  Preview Day for Prospective Families from 3:00-5:00 pm—spread the word!!
• 100th Day Celebration: Tuesday, January 28th- Wear your superhero costumes and comfortable and appropriate shoes for a day of learning FUN!
• Friday, February 14th:   Muffins with Mom and VALENTINE’S  DAY-8:30-9:00 in the Fine Arts Lobby.   Moms, please let us know if you cannot be here!
• February 3rd - Book in a bag will be sent home beginning the week of Feb. 3rd. Please let your child practice reading these books to you.  This is to promote a love of reading and is meant to be easy and fun!! 

• Monday and Tuesday, February 17th and 18th:  School Holidays (President’s Day)

Friday, February 21st  will be “P” day and the students can wear PJs to school.  More information to come…
