Our first two weeks have been filled with the excitement of
welcoming 62 new friends in our Lower School, meeting new teachers, seeing new
classrooms, and learning routines and expectations while having lots of fun!
I want to thank you for choosing FPDS as the school home for
your children. The teachers and I are happy to share this year with you and
yours. From getting out at carpool, to being in the classrooms, having lunch,
and playing on the playground we see smiles galore and that speaks volumes of
happy learning going on. Please let us know if we can help you with anything.
PARENTS 1st-
5th Grade… please come Monday,
August 26 @ 6:30pm. This is OPEN
HOUSE for parents to meet with the teachers and hear about: the exciting
plans for the year, classroom rules and routines, curriculum expectations,
field trips, and more. This will also be a good time to ask any specific
questions that may have come up since school started.
BREAKFAST 7 :30- 8:30am- Late Start Wednesdays… available to purchase in our very own VIKING
lunchroom. Great variety, made to order omelets, biscuits, and more! GREAT WAY
to start your child’s day… breakfast at school with them… give it a try. We
believe you will enjoy! Mr. Jonas Smith, our new SAGE dining director, invites
you to come check it out.
LIBRARY NEWS:
There are still some BIRTHDAY BOOK CLUB books to choose from in the library!
The new books will be available the rest of the week. This is such a
treat for the children!

Faculty and Staff would love to have parents join us in having 100% participation
in donations to FPD’s ANNUAL FUND. Any amount counts, one donation counts for
all your children, and you may designate where your donation goes. You may give
online or fill out a form to turn in 😊THANK YOU! 😊
