FPD Kindergarten Distance Learning Page

We will be updating this page daily with activities for you to work on at home.  Please feel free to email us with any questions you may have. You will receive an email from your teacher with their hours that they will be available to respond to your emails, but know that we will try to get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you so much for your understanding as we navigate this new territory together! 

Daily suggested student activities- 

*Students should practice their Bible memory verse, which will be sent each week. 

*Daily Journal work- March calendar page, weather graphs, 100’s chart, etc. (Writing in journals

   is not required daily, but will be included during weekly lessons.)

*Read each day, and fill in your monthly reading log

* Review popcorn words

Thursday, March 26th-

Bible verse for the week- You are my friends if you do whatever I command you. John 15:14

Pick 5 of your popcorn words to practice writing at home- use fun colors to rainbow write them or use markers, have fun but use your best handwriting. 

Try to find those popcorn words in a book you are reading for your reading log. 

Suggested Math activities- Play guess my number with your child. Use numbers 1-50. For example...I’m thinking of a 2 digit number that ends in 5. It’s bigger than 20. 

Unfortunately we had to postpone Grandparent’s Day program that was scheduled for tomorrow(3/27).  We are asking students to send their grandparents some virtual love today and/or tomorrow. 💜💜 Have your child call them, facetime, send a picture, draw a picture or make a card to show their grandparents how much they love them.  We pray our program will be rescheduled very soon!
