Friday, April 10th- GOOD FRIDAY - School Holiday

Friday, May 1st – Zoo Atlanta Field Trip All students must have an adult with them to attend.  We will arrive at at school at 8:15 and leave at 8:30 SHARP.  We have one bus to transport the students and teachers to Atlanta, and we will leave from the front of the Fine Arts building.  Parents will follow the bus in their own cars and are encouraged to carpool.  Once at the zoo, we will all meet at the entrance to receive our tickets and begin. You have already paid for admission for both you and your child. You will have an opportunity to view the animals at your own pace with your child and eat lunch on your own as well.  There is a restaurant on site that serves hamburgers, sandwiches, and salads or you may pack a lunch (this requires a trip to the parking lot and dips into zoo time).  We will return to the bus at 2:00 so we can arrive back at FPD by 3:30 or earlier.  If you wish for your child to ride back with you instead of on the bus, please let your child’s teacher know.  We need to have a proper head count for the ride back.  This is always a special day with your kindergartener, and we will pray for perfect weather!  Again, we will keep you updated about this event as we know more, but please keep the date on your calendar for now. :)
